The Network Technology And Ethics

The fast development of network technology,not only contributes enormous changes to the ways of our life,but also makes our concept,moral emotion,value orientation change greatly.The old ethics system can not meet the need of modern network life,while the new ethics system has not come into being.This period is named as the transformation period of society by people.The network technology,which in transition period from the lid to new one,brings our convenience,material benefit,also puts forward some unprecedented difficult problems about the ethics life.Thereasons are not lnly concerned with the primary development stage of the network technology,but also the results of the backwardness in constructioning our ethics.The interrelation and mutual influences of network technology and ethics are stated at the view of sociology and philosophy in detail in this paper. The question is the proposed in chapter one of this paper,the birth and development of the network technology are narrated at first.Then the forming of global information network is introduced.The questions of building ethics,which come from the development and application of the network technology,and the solutions of facing the impact of the ethics from the network technology are given out at last.Chapter two tells of the basic characteristics of the network society and ethics.The forming and characteristic to society of the network are described at first,then the difference between the network society and realistic in analysed at the point of the philosophy.At last the essential features of ethics in network society depicted.Chapter three depicts the double influence on ethics by the network technology.The relation between network technology and ethics is pointed out at first, Which is the reflection of the contradiction of ethics and scientific technology in history.Then the dialectical relation between science and technology and ethics are described.Moreover the positive function of the network technology to ethics is analysed,the negative effect is pointed out at last.Several ideas to strengthen the construction of contemporary ethics are proposed in chapter four.The first is to rectify value direction and establish the correct and rational ethics ideas.The second one is to set up the criterion of the network ethic and modify the law and regulation.Thirdly it is to strengthen network education,raise network subject ethics training and pay close attention to the development in an all-round way of the human nature.The last idea is that we should build and construct the unified operation mechanism of the network technology and humane spirit,and more attentions should be paid to technical development of the network.
