Syntaxs is the important element of the grammar. The syntax of epigraph in the Xizhou Dynasty not only inherit the syntax of Inscriptions on Bones or Tortoise Shells and epigraph in Shang Dynasty, but also gives birth to the syntax of the dynasty of Dongzhou, Qin and Han.The thesis includes five chapters.Chapter one: this part introduces the studying of the epigraph in the Xizhou Dynasty before, and defines something such as material, range and purpose.Chapter two: this part summarizes the sentence composition of epigraph in xizhou dynasty.Chapter three: this part studies the structure of verb-object.Chapter four: this part studies the structure of prep-object.Chapter five: this part studies some sentence patterns.This thesis applies the analytical method of composition and arrangement, and Transformational-generative Grammar sometimes.
