| Through a long history of five thousand years, the Chinese figure-painting artists have left behind them an abundant art treasury to us. During the long period, there was raise and development, as well as prosperity and decline. Having experienced the ups and downs in the recent century, the art of Chinese painting saw a big change. It shows itself the great possibility of penetrating into the various modern art forms and its own limitation. After the opening-up policy, it enters a new period of development of pluralism.Under the context of pluralism in art, the direction of the development of Chinese ink-figure-painting naturally becomes a common concern by many artists. However, the form of art is able to bring new vitality to artists in presentation. With the little knowledge gotten in the process of creation, this thesis discuss the exploration of modern ink-figure-painting in the context of pluralism from the angle of form language. It will discuss mainly in four aspects, namely, painting technique, color, design and composition.In the aspect of painting technique, with the knowledge of calligraphy techniques, the imitation and reference of rub in Chinese landscape-painting and the feelings to the western oil painting, it will discuss the usage of "side-brush" , "opposite -brush" , or even "broken -brush" in the base of "middle - brush" to enrich its presentation, and emphasize the symbolism, semiotics and abstraction of drawing.In the aspect of color, with the visual recognition of ink in paper, the unique Chinese inkpainting color system, and the western color presentation, it will discuss the composition of picture by using the relationship of cold and warm color, and extend multiple meaning of the color problem of taking white as black.In the aspect of design, through the recognition process of the Chan sect of Buddhism, (the mountain is the mountain, but when you get near to the mountain,it is no longer the mountain; when you see it again, it is the mountain again.) it will explain the three phases of design recognition. With the understanding of the relationship between image and environment gotten in the process of life sketching, this thesis emphasize the use of unbalance in order to seek balance in designing images.In the aspect of composition, through the discussion of the purpose of form composition, the thesis will help people realize the importance in creation. Besides, it touches upon the reference of western drawing composition, sculpture photographing and other composition forms that are meaningful to enrich the composition of Chinese painting, to increase its modern flavor and raises the creation taste.The reform of Chinese ink-figure-painting includes many aspects, and faces many problems need to be solved. This thesis is a summery of the knowledge gotten in the process of creation practice. Though these knowledge is not clear and complete enough, and needs to be deepened, in the process of exploration, I indeed have enriched my painting knowledge, which is valuable and necessary in the long road to maturity. |
