Aiming at the content of Requirement of College English Course (trial edition), the fundamental purpose of this study is to get the contrastive analysis of domestic English-teaching models' and analyze the colleges' real conditions in our country. Based upon the language acquisition theory, language & information processing theory, Input Hypothesis of Krashen and output Hypothesis of Swain, "the Input-output Model in the College English-Teaching" is put forward. The action research is going on in this paper. Through designing questionnaire, processing data and educational experiment, the basis results are shown as follows. In students' achievement aspect, the experimental classes an much better than the contrast classes. In class performance aspect, the students under "the Input-output Model in the College English-Teaching" showed the activity of vivid thought, cooperation spirit, communication ability, the ability of finding problem, raising problem, solving problem, and the ability of exchanging standpoint. As far as the lived experienee of students are concerned, about 85% of them agreed to this new English-teaching model...
