| The art education of high normal school came into being with the development of Chinese pre-modern culture, and so far it has existed in China for nearly a century. It has accumulated profound scientific connotation during cultivating artistic educators, at the same time it germs the seeds of innovation in itself, whose inner motive is the social need to labor force, and this changing process constitutes promising prospect of the art education of high normal school in China. This paper, first of all, re-arranges and re-recognizes the historical prospect.Under the present historical condition, the innovation of basic education raised new topic and challenge for the educator, making the art education of high normal school aiming for cultivating qualified art teacher face a new innovating chance.
