The Development And Innovation

The art education of high normal school came into being with the development of Chinese pre-modern culture, and so far it has existed in China for nearly a century. It has accumulated profound scientific connotation during cultivating artistic educators, at the same time it germs the seeds of innovation in itself, whose inner motive is the social need to labor force, and this changing process constitutes promising prospect of the art education of high normal school in China. This paper, first of all, re-arranges and re-recognizes the historical prospect.Under the present historical condition, the innovation of basic education raised new topic and challenge for the educator, making the art education of high normal school aiming for cultivating qualified art teacher face a new innovating chance. Whether it can smoothly complete the historical change of adapting to the tendency of common art education innovation depends mainly on the depth and proper angle of study. Based on the background of the development of art education of high normal school, in view of the urgency of the need to teacher's competence by the popular art education, the paper re-scrutinizes the value of art education and puts up forward some suggestions for the innovation of art education of high normal school.
