As the newest type of context-dependent memory,language-dependent recall combines features from other context-dependent memory, but also has unique properties characteristic to language alone. With its development, we may know more about the relationship between language and memory in this situation. On the other hand, it is also helpful to the life memory phenomena. But the study on it is still something limited and uncertain. In this study, we designed a series of experiments by evaluating the effect in Chinese ambiance in some aspect. The results of experiments are demonstrated as following:1. The language-dependent effect is a ubiquitous phenomena no matter what trait of the material or what is the style of process.2. The sound will work on the language-dependent effect remarkably if the two languages share the same character representation.3. There are something special of the representation of the language-dependent effect when the materials are not familiar.4. The language-dependent effect is influenced by the familarity of the tongue. Participants tend to code with the tongue they are familiar with. It may include a process of code-switch.5. The language-dependent effect is also affected by the factor of the levels of processing to some extent.
