The Study On Common Measure "Zhi" Of Xiang Dialect

On the basis of first-hand linguistic data which come from the author's practical field investigation ,the dissertation accounts the using actuality of common measure word "zhi" of Xiang dialect in detail and compares its distinctions and similarities in Xiang dialect from two aspects such as measuring scope and syntax representation .In addition ,the paper discusses why "zhi" is being used widely by making use of theories of cognitive linguistics and analyze the competitive evolvement and developing trend of "zhi" and "ge" by using the theories of glossary diffusion .Meanwhile,the theme ,by outer comparison with other dialects ,puts forward typological senses in studying the common measure "zhi" of Xiang dialect.The paper consists of six parts :The prelude introduces the meaning of studying dialectical common measures ,the studying actuality of common measure "zhi" of Xiang dialect ,the meaning of selecting the thesis and the vocabulary introductions ,spots and objects of survey in this paper .The first chapter shows and prescribes the wide using actuality of common measure "zhi" of Xiang dialect by ways of data statistics and classified representation .Then ,the paper analyzes the semantic features of "zhi" and its widely using functions ,and explains why it is used widely from cognitive prospective.The second chapter prescribe the combination function and overlapping types of "zhi" as well as their respective syntax function in detail ,highly discussing the particular use of Xiang dialect "zhi" such as demonstrative pronoun and auxiliary words ,which include attribute...
