The aim of this study was to develop an Autonomy in Learning Rating Scale for college students based on previous study. By investingating more than 2200 samples from 16 universities in various districts of Hunan Province ,this study established a construction of Autonomy in Learning of college students composed of 61 items, 16 factors, and 4 hierarchies by means of ex ploitory analysis and confirmatory analysis , examined the reliability and validity of the scale; on the base of it we founded a territorial norm. The reliability analysis consisted of means Cronbach's Alpha, spilit-half reliability and retest reliability; and the validity analysis included content, construct, and criterion-related. The results included:(1)Psychometic properties analysis showed that the scale achived good reliability and validity.(2)Exploratory and confirmatory analysis found that Autonomy in Learning of college students were composed of 4 hierarchies, and 16 factors. The 4 hierarchies are: self-regulation, learning strategies, learning motivation, content and environment . The 16 factors are: self summarization and evaluation, self volition, content choice, structure and finish maching, self efficancy, learning assist strategies, extracunicular learning strategies,...
