| Narrative plays a distinctive role in literary discourse. Point of view is defined as an inescapable narrative device in the process of narration. The choice of different point of view results from the choice of the overall effect and the whole narrative structure of the work under consideration on the part of the author. Even in describing the same event, the differences in point of view give rise to different narrative effects. Thus, point of view forms an essential aspect of narrative style. And it is also regarded as one of the most important aspects of authorial formal operations. So it matters a great deal in literary creation and literary appreciation. Literary translation is both a process of appreciation and a process of recreation. Literary translation is in essence a practice of art. So point of view should be an indispensable subject of interest in literary translating. However, unfortunately, it tends to go unnoticed in literary translation. The translators' lack of sensitivity of the writer's formal artistic manipulation results in their replacement of the point of view of the original with their own aesthetic experience. Thus, various kinds of "deceptive equivalence" emerge in literary translation.The present study attempts to apply the theory and methodology of narratology to literary translation on the aspect of point of view.
