Dissertation On The Chinese Folk Music Elements In Solo Transcribe Piano Works Of Chu Wang-Hua

Chu Wang-Hua is one of the famous composer and pianist of China. He couldn't study composition as his major in ideal in his teenage time, and studied in piano department. Because of his passion and unremitting endeavor in composition, especially in piano music composition, he finally became a professional composer successfully. During his unremitting study, exploration and practice, he attach importance to Chinese ethnologic language in Chinese piano music, and based on Chinese national culture and music traditions, created a series of Chinese piano works with ethnologic style, added valuable wealth for piano music in China.Transcribe piano works are throughout and become an important component of Chu's entire composition. These works are from Chinese folk music and creative music which accepted widely by people, incarnate multiple elements of different style of Chinese folk music directly. The thesis includes 3 chapters. In first chapter, introduce living and composing experiences of Chu, and conclude characteristic of his transcribe piano works in different period;Second chapter analyses Chinese folk music elements in Chu's works. Third chapter includes ways and advices on how to play Chu's transcribe piano works.The intention of writing this thesis lies in through analyzes Chinese folk music elements and perform treatments of Chu's solo transcribe piano works, We knew these works have profited from the Run cavity characteristic which the Chinese folk song sings and the many kinds of national musical instrument perform technique;Have manifested Chinese drama music "tightly pulls slowly sings" and percussion instrument accompaniment rhythm;Have inherited and developed Chinese folk music development technique and structure features such as: gradual change, ending focus and malleable characteristic. These works through expression of music content, incarnate the amalgamation of emotion and scenery, the bourn alternates with virtual and actual, and express the spirit of music by lasting appeal of Chinese folk music. All of above can prove that Chu's solo transcribe piano works are the works with Chinese national feature obviously, and these works generalizes Chinese piano music throughout China and the world. They bring important affection to the Chinese piano music development.
