The Study On The Variant Pronuncition Of Guangyun

Guangyun is a important material for Chinese-language history research. While the variant pronunciation of Guangyun has more important historical data value and applied value. On the base of prior research, this thesis has summed up and analyzed the character of variant pronunciation in Guangyun, mainly according to the book A New Revision of Guangyun(Sung Edition) wrote by Yu Nae—win. Theses strives for reveal the Pronunciations of the Character of Variant Pronunciation and draw the statistics of the number of the Character of Variant Pronunciation. Aiming to find out the Character of Variant Pronunciation, possible origins and the reason why these characters were come into being. There are 26194 characters in Guangyun, including 4719 characters that have Variant Pronunciation. The phonetic transcriptions of these characters are various. Except for some that have been marked with the variant pronunciation definitely ,there are also other cases,.The thesis can be divided into four parts. The first part refers to the author and the edition of Guangyun, besides that, the survey of other peoples' thesis of researches are also presented in this part. The second part gives us the statistics of the number of the Character of Variant Pronunciation, including the one word that has single Pronunciation, or one word that has two or three or four or five or six orseven Pronunciations. Want to make some analysis with many examples. Through this part, we can easily discover the Pronunciation relationship between the Character of Variant Pronunciation. The third part mainly focuses on the reason why these characters were come into being in the Character of Variant Pronunciation in Guangyun. The fourth part is the summary of the three parts mentioned above, and in this part, come into a conclusion that the premiere reason for the Character of Variant Pronunciation is the Pronunciation change and the meaning change.The research field of the Character of Variant Pronunciation in Guangyun is very broad;still we have many aspects to do our research. This thesis only is a simple analysis research, but there are many defects, and we hope it can be more perfect.
