During the period of the first cooperation between the Kuomintang and the CommunistParty, the Kuomingtang itself has split because its party members hold different views on the"three major policies ", especially the "ally Russia" and "accommodate the CCP". This splitof the Kuomingtang has given rise to Western Hill Conference Fiction, New Rightist and TheLeftist. And finally the destiny of cooperation between the Kuomintang and the CommunistParty develops in accordance with the will of the New Rightist and the Western HillConference Fiction. Therefore, the present study is of high significance in further clarifyingthe history of first cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party.The introduction part aims to generally review the related researches that have been donein this field, elaborate the train of thoughts and research methods of the present study, andexplain the important concepts involved in the study and the questions for attention.The first part of the study investigates in detail the attitudinal evolution of the newrightist and the Western Hill Conference Fiction towards the "ally Russia". This part dividesthe attitudes of the Western Hills Conference Fiction into following three stages: "allyingRussia", "doubting Russia" and "against Russia" in general, and uses the historical data notfully illustrated yet in the past to explain the whole dynamic process of the evolution andrelevant factors resulting in changes. Meanwhile, it investigates the New Rightist's attitudetowards "ally Russia" policy, and tries to explore the real process of attitudinal evoluation.The second part of the study investigates the attitudinal evolution of Western HillConference fiction towards the "accommodate the CCP" policy. In this part, it divides theWestern Hill Conference fiction's attitudes into three stages: "generally objecting to CCP","solving the CCP problem friendly" and "sweeping the CCP thoroughly". It also examines thecontents and reasons for the changes. As to the New Rightist's attitudes towards the CCP, thestudy attempts to identify and analyze the weak points of the previous researches and draw anew conclusion.The third part of the study sums up the first and second parts as stated above, points outthe correlation between "ally Russia" and "accommodate the CCP" in the eyes of WesternHill conference fiction and the New Rightist, compares the similarities and differences of thetwo fictions on this question, and states the interactive relations on these two questions.The conclusive part draws the conclusion according to the previous descriptions in thisstudy, points out the further impact of this issue on the first cooperation between theKuomintang and the Communist Party.
