Since the appearance of Utopia written by Thomas Moore in 1516, Utopia theme has become a latent idea and cultural tradition in British literature. Entering nineteen century, Utopia theme is gradually shifting toward anti-Utopia theme. Due to the sensitivity on and strong attention paid to anti-Utopia theme by British literature, British literature still dominates the category of anti-Utopia novels.Worship of hero is an important tradition deeply rooted in western literature. However, in the time of modernism and post-modernism, the images of hero in traditional literature were overturned and re-written and "leading character" and "hero" in the literature works were separated, causing traditional heroes to disappear in modern works. The analysis of traditional images of hero in the anti-Utopia novels provides new angles for the understanding of anti-Utopia novels. In the meantime, we can see, from the heroes in the anti-Utopia novels, that the ideas and spirits of Utopia can never be turned into actual social systems. Once spirits of Utopia became actual Utopia social systems, they would be completely driven to the opposite side. This article focuses on the analysis of these anti-Utopia novels- Brave New World, Nineteen-Eighty Four, Lord of The Flies and the Clockwork Orange and probes into the alienation of images of hero in anti-Utopia novels and the spallation of Utopia spirits.
