The child period is essential to the development of a person. And the degree of intelligence cultivation and development will decide the destiny of his whole life. Then how we foster a child's intelligence effectively and develop his latent ability has already become the focus of attention. This present research adopts some advanced principles such as multiple intelligences theory of Gardner, the successful intelligence theory, and the theory of emergent curriculum etc. A positive method is used to promote diversified intellective development of every pre-school child. This research investigates the intelligence development's present conditions of some 3-7 years old infants in kindergartens in Shanxi Province, applying the methods of observation, interview and questionnaire, as well as file research, etc., with case study and group research included. Having reached a good understanding of the present conditions of infant education, we goes on to take a "problem basis" approach, by which, for the purpose of promoting children's intelligence development, the actual current problems and demands of reforms are taken into consideration, the latest theories developments are made use of, and such methods as action research, the experimentation and interfering research are adopted. This research uses a 3-7 years old child's diversified ability teacher and parent's questionnaires and investigates some kindergartens in Taiyuan in their big, medium and small classes. To investigate any possible "intervention" of 3-7 years old diversified ability development, tests are done, experimental classes and corresponding classes are selected, and a comparison of the measurements done with experimental classes and corresponding classes before and after the experiments is carried out.The final conclusions are:1. As a result of qualitative research it is concluded that: the work methods diversification, research contents diversification and work conditions diversification are the effective teaching and research principles to be followed in kindergarten education.2. By the result of the exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, it is confirmed that the diversified ability questionnaire (the parent assess) of child of 3-7 years old consists of eight dimensions such as logical mathematical intelligence, musical-rhythmic intelligence, verbal-linguistic expression intelligence, intra personal intelligence, art and handicraft intelligence, natural environment intelligence, body-sport intelligence and interpersonal intelligence. The eight factors serve to explain 51.99% of the total variation and the confirmatory factor analysis indicates a sound match in term of the index number.3. This research points out that: the development of children's diversified ability is influenced by the child's age, sex, the family income and by the fact whether he is an only child or not;a girl's most abilities are stronger than those of boys;the only child's most abilities are stronger than those of the non-only child;the diversified development of ability presents an up-trend with the growth of the age;various ability is strengthened along with increase of the family income and the diversified abilities are almost not influenced by parents' level of education.4. By a regression analysis, it is found that parents value the traditional language intelligence and mathematics intelligence particularly, and that they have an unilateral and monotonous understanding of intelligences.5. Having taken this diversified course and the activity intervention experiment, the experiment class and the control class show an obvious difference in all fields of intelligence developments (except 'companion interaction').
