The Semantic And Cognitive Basis Of Double Objects Constructions

Not all of the structures with "V+O1+O2" are double objects constructions.The differences,between double objects construction and non double objects construction, even among themselves are caused by the differences of the syntax, semantic and cognition.This thesis is trying to study the differences, between double objects construction and non double objects construction, typical double objects construction and non, by analysing the differences of the syntax, semantic and cognition.Chapter One,we give a summary introduction of what the former and present researchers think is double objects construction,and point out what this thesis study. The divergences come from the name and the form of the structure,the semantic of the verb in the structure,the types of the objects,the relationship between the verb and the objects.Chapter Two,we describe the different changed forms of double objects construction which are consisted of different type verbs by the differences they present when they are changed into another forms.Chapter Three,we describe and analyse the verbs in the double objects constructions and the semantic of the constructions. We explain the differences of the verbs from the angle of semantic.Chapter Four, we build a typical and some related cognition forms about the double objects constructions,on the basis of different semantic type of the double objects constructions and the verbs in it .And explain the differences between double objects construction and non double objects construction, and between the verbs in double objects construction.
