Trial Analysis Of Compiling The Book Of Lv Shi Chun Qiu And The Phenomena Of Qin Culture Integration

Compiling the Book of Lv Shi Chun Qiu was a very important cultural matter in development of Qin culture and also a conscious practice of Qin culture's Integration for east regional Qilu culture. The political aim of compiling the Book of Lv Shi Chun Qiu lay in making Qin culture richer, making some preparations for Qin future development and providing Qin Empire's founding and stability with thought and theory's preparation and cultural resources. It was stringent and had distinctive characteristics of the age and regional location, which gave, strongly political utilitarianism to Lv Shi Chun Qiu.There were two writers' groups in compiling the book of Lv Shi Chun Qiu. One was intellectual group who advocated academic. The other was cultural nature's officials who were acquainted with law and knowledge to be a official. According to regional location, it may divide them into two categories, namely, Qinjin intellectuals and Qilv intellectuals. The former was cultural nature's officials and latter was intellectuals. Lv Buwei's follwers were various groups, mainstream of which consisted of Qinjin cultural nature's officials and Qilv intellectuals. They had different theories and vales, which determined that the book of Lv Shi Chun Qiu integrated a hundred schools and two types of culture, east region culture and west region cultureLv Shi Chun Qiu follows the principles: "following the rule of heaven and earth "and "implementing different policies according to the change in four seasons", which basically rooted in thought of the School of Huang-Lao. Its frame consisted of three sections, "Ji","Lan"and"Lun". The book integrated systematically and reasonably various schools theories and thought. As for the problem of controversy of schools tendency, the thesis believes that redundant debate has no significance. In the late Warring States, with exchange of various thought and culture, thought difference between schools had more and more vague. Moreover some thought elements had became common views become of common origin and each other borrow. Though some contents of Lv Shi Chun Qiu originated in Confucian and other Ancient Chinese Classics, but the words had obtained whole meaning through arrangement, accept or reject and integration by compiler and became a part of Lv Shi Chun Qiu. Its aim, subject content, core values and language style and so on had formed a whole system of thought and culture and embodied Qin culture development tendency in the late Warring States.Qin cultural development in the late Warring States not only inherited Qin culture, but also realized integration for east Qilv culture. The thesis analyzes how Qin culture integrated east Qilv culture from angle of Confucian and other Ancient Chinese Classics in pre-Qin and angle of regional culture. The book integrated various theories of Confucian and other Ancient Chinese Classics according to empire demands. It tried to discard sectarianism and integrated their thought and theories from angle of philosophy thought, principles to be Emperor and Subject, military affairs, education and agriculture and so on. It started from utilitarianism and pragmatism that the ruler of Qin country incorporated cultural resources in Qilu Culture, such as moral ethics, into Qin Culture, which had Qin Culture have breakthrough in the late Warring States.The practices of compiling the Book of Lv Shi Chun Qiu had some following characteristics: (1) taking advantage of Jixia academic achievements ;(2) strongly political utilitarianism ;(3) multivariate and openness. Th process did not stop when Lv Buwei fellowers disbanded. Even though Qinshihuang believed the theory of law school, but he cannot get rid of serious influence of Lv Buwei academic group on Qin country. So integration for Qilv culture continued. For example, Qin culture made use of some elements of Qilv culture in system construction and advocating Qin ideology.After Shangyang Reform, Qin culture became richer and had important development in the course of second integration for east regional culture. It began to be mainstream culture from regional culture, which signaled the beginning of Qinhan united culture age and had serious influence on Chinese traditional political culture.
