Pop art is a movement of Western countries developing mainly in 1960's. According to the statement of American Traditional Dictionary, Pop art is a form of art that depicts objects or scenes from everyday life and employs techniques of commercial art and popular illustration. It concerns popular culture, mass media and consume society nearly, but the new culture form and aesthetic experience caused by popular culture, electronic media and daily life full of mass products are not only the object pop art depicts or insignificant time background, they are the foundation of the success of pop art. The pop artists acutely realized and responded to the culture turn resulted from them. The tendencies of culture turn mean culture turns to the masses and daily life, culture turns to media and visual, culture turns to commercial and industries. Pop art is not only the sign but also the composition of the culture turn. So after regard it as a movement of art, we should review it as a culture event. Set against an extensive culture background, we could better experience pop art, understand their technique of anonymous reproduce and concept of destroying the hedge between art and life, and at the same time feel pulse of culture turn.
