| We should return to the original issue of English education in order to explore what kinds of effects or efficiencies need to be reached currently while "low efficiency with abundant time taking" becomes the most popular issue of English education in our society. In accordance with era approach and the evolvement of English teaching theory, the criteria of English learning have been transformed for three times, from learning grammar rules to development of listening, speaking, reading & writing skills and then the promotion of communication ability. The third transformation makes people believe that the most important thing is to obtain the following characters which are features of English-subject, special mindset of across-culture communication, special visions of mutual understanding and special multi-culture combination and development although the development should be required not only in skills but also competence of communication, co-learning, self-learning, and creativity. Individual development also becomes the English educational objective in the evolvement of English Teaching Outline & Criterion of English Curriculum in China.English teaching has been reformed in order to achieve the above objectives and popularize the teaching theory of communication language. However, many kinds of issues are presented to us in the process of reform, such as the issues of main structure, meaning creation, contextualization, the relationship between explanations and inquiry, and inappropriate usage in representative activities. With various forms, those issues have a lot in common essences. The first essence is that teachers are not clear enough what the English learning means to the learner's life development. The second one is that teachers do have little ideas about how to achieve those objectives, the teaching interaction in English class. Although the first essence is about objective while the second one is about method, they actually belong to the same issue. Separating the objective with method will finally lead to miss of objective. The methods, which are extrinsic to and controlled by objective, will lose its internal creation and vitality. Finally, objective can not be achieved and become worthless for activities guiding in those situations. Hence, the realization of English teaching value for individual development inheres in the teaching interaction of English class. English educational reform can be accomplished based on the combination of teaching interaction and its meaning creation which become their mutual consequence respectively. Researchers believe that teaching interaction in English classroom, which can promote individual development, should reflect the speciality of English Teaching interaction characters in the aspects of teaching & interaction. Meanwhile, teaching interaction in English classroom should be based on the value of individual life, i.e., not only be provided with the character of Teaching but also the character of interaction. It also includes the dynamic balance of certainty and uncertainty and the overall interaction among "people".What kinds of activities should be taken to establish three-dimensional interaction network in order to realize Teaching interaction and meaning creation in English classroom? Raised in the process of reform, various issues displayed by the range of "teachers behavior & observable results", while the solution should be found out from the interactive relationship between itself and "teachers thought process". With the limitation of time and ability, we selected only two researches in aspects of teacher thoughts process, teachers plan and teacher's interaction decision in current situation, rather regard the teachers' ideology and theory as research trend in the future. Researchers attempt to explore the three parties' relationships from the aspects of organization and interaction in complexity relationships. Meanwhile, they bring forward two aspects of suggestions from organization structure reform and methods of interaction: reform in organization structure of teaching activities, and reform in methods and situation of meaning creation. All kinds of reforms will be implemented in Teaching, i.e., the process of teaching interaction. Simultaneously, reform of teacher interaction decision-making mode will be the most essential preconditions to achieve those reforms. |
