Moreover, it analyzes the errors on the order of strokes and Chinese characters remembering in both two teaching environment. Hence offers some educational reference and enlightenment to those who teach Chinese as a second language in the multimedia environment on Chinese characters teaching.There are seven parts in this thesis: the first one expatiates the object of study and the significance of this title; the second one gives the readers a overall cognition about the Chinese characters teaching in the multimedia environment by producing the actuality of researches on Chinese characters teaching in TCSL and teaching Chinese in the multimedia environment. And it also expounds the function of dual encoding theory of multimedia, the approaching effect and experience in multimedia learning and the guiding function of remembering hypothesis in cognitive psychology to the multimedia courseware. The third one introduces the related experimental method and report of investigation. The fourth to the sixth parts use the remembering principle of the experimental psychology to make experiments on Chinese character remembering effect and collect data on learning the strokes. Then this part analyses the collected data and the errors on learning orders of strokes and remembering Chinese characters.
