Chinese Quantifier has a long history. If we want to study the whole history of Chinese Quantifier systemically ,at first ,we should study every period of Chinese Quantifier very well.As Liu Shi-ru said:if we study the Chinese Quantifier of every period well,we will establish the whole history of Chinese Quantifier.(The study on the Quantifier in Weijin periods·prologue)Pro-Qin is in the embryonic stage of the quantifier,Weijin periods is in the maturity and phase of the quantifier,Han Dynasty between them ,which is in a sort of transition stage.It will be very helpful for the study of the whole history of Chinese Quantifier if we penetrate into learn the evolution status of the quantifier in this period.This thesis droves at the available production of Han Dynasty Quantifier and studys the Han Dynasty Quantifier systemically from three aspects:the internal sort of Han Dynasty Quantifier,the usage of Han Dynasty Quantifier and the form and evolution of Han Dynasty Quantifier .From the study we can conclude some features about the development and evolution of Han Dynasty Quantifier.This thesis is made up of five chapters.Chapter One:we introduce the background of the study of ancient Chinese Quantifier.According to the change of the major research emphasis,we divide the study into three stage .First,the infancy of 20th to 1950s,the major research emphasis is what is the property of Chinese Quantifier.At last,we agree with that the quantifier is a independent word class.Second,1950s to 1980s, the major research emphasis of ancient Chinese Quantifier is the study of certain period.This study droves at certain period and do the study from up to down .Third,1980s to now, the major research emphasis of ancient Chinese Quantifier is the study of certain book or certain subject.In addition,the study on the quantifier of unearthed literature gets more and more important for the researchers.Chapter two:this part droves at Han Dynasty Quantifier and introduces the research background of Han Dynasty Quantifier briefly.At last,we point that there are three features of Han Dynasty Quantifier.First,because the unearthed literature has special feature and content,the value of such material gets more and more important for the researchers.Second,we nend sepend more energy in the study of Han Dynasty Quantifier of certain book.Third,nobody has done the study on Han Dynasty Quantifier of the translation sutra in Dong-Han Dynasty.Chapter three:we divide Han Dynasty Quantifier into certain sort and we survey the Han Dynasty Quantifier and count the total number of it that includes 98 nonu-quantifier,9 time-quantifier and 3 verd-quantifier.Chapter four:we analyze and illustrate the usage of Han Dynasty Quantifier from two aspects. First,the composite relation of noun-quantifier and numeral,noun:this thesis study the the usage of Han Dynasty Noun-Quantifier form the following aspects:the single use of certain quantifier, the overlap use of certain quantifier, the combition of some quantifiers, numeral+quantifier, quantifier +numeral, quantifier+noun, noun+quantifier,noun+numeral+ quantifier,numeral+quantifier+noun.Second,the composite of verb and quantifier:this thesis point that there is a lot usage of verb+quantifier on Han Dynasty and the verb-quantifier occurs in this period. At last the usage of verb+numeral+quantifier as morden Chinese also occurs in this period.Part five:the part droves at the development and evolution of Han Dynasty Quantifier,at last we point that there are six features of Han Dynasty Quantifier.First,Because of the development of the division of the quantifier ,the number of the individuality-quantifier of Han Dynasty got more than Pro-Qin's. Second,the meaning of the quantifier got more immaterialization,the range of use of some quantifier got larger and larger.Third,the system of the measure-quantifier got more and more sophistication.Forth, the overlap use of ceatain quantifier and the affixation of the quantifier had occurred.Fifth,the verb-quantifier had occurred.Sixth,the structure of numeral+quantifier had removed before the noun gradually, but noun+numeral+ quantifier was still dominant than numeral+quantifier +noun.At the end of the thesis ,we point that Han Dynasty is a very important stage in the whole history of Chinese Quantifier, Chinese Quantifier develop gradually in this period.
