A Study On Su Shunqin's Poems

Su shunqin was one of the most important writers who created the poem style of Song Dynasty. He had a lot of contributions in the earlier period of " Innovation Movement on Poem and Prose in BeiSong Dynasty" . This thesis mainly reserachs on his poem creation. It is divided into six parts:The preface briefly introducts the reserach situation of Su Shunqin from two aspects: his life and his literary writing.The first chapter is Su Shunqin's thoughts. The research on one's thoughts is helpful to understanding of his works. But Su Shunqin's thoughts was less interested,so I take it as the first chapter.The second chapter is Su Shunqin's literary thoughts and poetry origin.The thoughts of one writer are not all equal to his creative practice,but undoutedly can have important influence on his creation. The researchs on Su Shunqin's literary thoughts are either insufficiently detailed, or insufficiently thorough, so it is necessaryto discuss this problem. Su Shunqin adored Du Fu-the poet in the TangDynasty,so he learned Du Fu from the manner of life to the poem art. But so far a few of people have pay their attentions to this problem.In this paper, a detailed discussion on it will be gived.The third chapter is the stage and content of Su Shunqin's poems. The stage has always been divided general poem and prose,from the major events of his life activities , not from the changes of his literary creation itself in the development process.This paper attempts to discuss the stage from his poems itself. Researchers concern more to Su Shunqin' political poems than others. This paper is in an attempt to more fully understand the contents of his poems during dividing into different stage,different category and different genre.The forth chapter is the artistic individuality of Su Shunqin's poems. To discuss this,you have to discuss the method of "take prose as poem", Which play a major role in formating of Su Shunqin 's poem style. Therefore this paper analyzes the using and influence in Su Shunqin's poems in detail. As the different personality, knowledge, intellect,thought, personal experience and writing content, different poets will have different preferences on poetry genre,different genres of poetry will have different features, Therefore this paper analyzes the artistic personality of Su Shunqin's poems from different genres.The conclusion mainly discuss the innovation to the poem style in the early period of BeiSong Dynasty and the influences to the later generation.
