Reality, Classicality, Localization

Liu Shahe is a poet that grew up with the founding of New China, and also a poet that has the particular personality on the creating road, the verse idea and the art style. In this paper, the contents and theme, artistic expression, aesthetic style and other issues of Liu Shahe's poetry are discussed. Through reading many texts and analysing a great deal of data, I think reality, classicality, localization are three important characteristics of the Liu Shahe's poetry.Reality, means Liu Shahe insisting on the realism creating road all the time. The environment where he grew up, the education what he accepted, the rocky life that he has experienced and the society reality which he lived in ,these factors rose a function together, left realism brand profoundly on the outlook on life, world outlook ,values and literary concepts of Liu Shahe. Due to insisting realism creating road, makes his verse have the value of "the poem history", He had made the vivid performance with the full of typical meaning to a particular segment of China history, with his true, distress, sensitive life experience personally. These make his poetry have deep social history meaning and knowing value. Meanwhile, because the poet got material from reality, express genuine feeling, making his poetry have "the heart history" value , we can understand the poet's heart road process clearly from the work of Liu Shahe. Another typical model performance of the realism of Liu Shahe's work is heavy folk song taste. In addition, he is a poet on the mainland who has introduced contemporary verse of Taiwan to poem altar of the mainland completely and early, and made an accurate evaluation to many representative poets and their works. He adopted the dialectical attitude to treat the "modernism" which was subjected to criticism at that time, definite should be yes, denied should be no; this expressed the broad vision of art and the inclusive theoretical courage of Liu Shahe as a realism poet.It expressed a classic doctrine characteristic in the creation of the poet. Because the education and the experience with life, the poet is influenced deeply by traditional culture of our country. On thoughting idea, he was not only subjected to the Confucianism goes into a life time philosophy deeply, but also influenced by "have no for" in LaoChuang thought deeply. On the verse idea and the creation aspect, the influence of the Chinese traditional poetics and the verse is very obvious. His poem opinions have the same soul with Chinese traditional poetics. In his work, the classicality characteristic was expressed mainly on two aspects. The first one is the pursuit of the literature spirit of classic verse, and the sense of taking nation, race, the public as basic ,the spirit of self-improvement and the moral responsibility for the suffering which has been showed by classic verse, the second one is the pursuit of the aesthetic features of the classic verse. He like to use the "ode", the row ratio and the rhyme. His poetry are obvious "the half freedom" body, and have the inclination of "the half rules and forms of poem". His poetry have the beauty of orderliness well-balanced, cadence and the circle tone.The earth of Bashu is the place where the poet was born and brought up, lives and works, laughes and sheds tears. The culture of Bashu which the content is deep and the style is unique has dipped into the blood and the life of Liu Shahe. His verse creation has obvious characteristic of the culture of BaShu. These are mainly expressed on three aspects: the first, he insists writing in dialect of Sichuan; the second, his verse have special humor of the Bashu people; at last, his verse have the characteristics of Bashu people that "pay attention to reality, look down upon imagination" .
