The research of Hakka has attained a certain breadth and depth, however, it mainly concentrate in Jiangxi, Guangdong and Fujian province . The study of Hakka dialect in Guangxi is still focused on a single point of describing the phonetics. Bobai as the first largest Hakka County in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region ,the research material of Hakka dialect is relatively scarce,Because of the location, Bobai-Hakka has been absorbed, borrowed with other local Chinese dialects in phonetics, vocabulary and grammar, but nobody has ever made any systematic research in this aspect because of fewer materials.In order to provide the study of Bobai-Hakka dialect with the first-hand data, probe the evolvement of Bobai-Hakka-Dialect as well as the futher study of Guangxi-Hakka-Dialect ,even the whole Hakka Dialect's spread, dissemination and mutation ,this thesis has deeply investigated the Shahe-Hakka-Dialect in Bobai County. It described and analyzed the characteristics of its phonetics, vocabulary and grammar,compared the renounciation ,vocabulary and grammar of the Shahe-Hakka-Dialect with the Meixian-Hakka-Dialect, try to probe the evolvement rules and illustrate the reasons of evovement.The introduction of Chapter 1 briefly tells us the significance of investigating Bobai Hakka, reviewed the achievements which was made by the ancestors, introduced Bobai's geography, history and the distribution of the population. It analysed the difference of the Shahe-Hakka-Dialect with its surrounding township. Chapter 2 described the phonology and its features of the Hakka Dialect in Shahe town ,involved its intitials, vowels and tones.. Compared the pronounciation of the Shahe-Hakka-Dialect with the Beijing tone and Middle Ancient Chinese to study the phonetic characteristics of the Shahe-Hakka-Dialect . Chapter 3 and chapter 4 studied the characteristics of the vocabulary and the grammar. Chapter 5 briefly compared the Meixian-Hakka-Dialect with the Shahe-Hakka-Dialect , analysised the reasons for evolution in terms of pronounciation ,vocabulary and grammar. Chapter 6 enumerated the children's song, nusery rhymes and story etc. Appendix 1 is homophony syllabary of the Hakka Dialect in Shahe town. Appendix 2 is vocabularies of the Shahe-Hakka-Dialect.
