Creative thinking is the advanced thinking form of human beings, so it's very important to cultivate students'creative thinking in teaching,. In recent decades, the cultivation of creative teaching has received much attention both at home and abroad, and it is proposed in vocational colleges'Designing Sketch teaching by comparing with traditional Drawing Sketch teaching. Though the students are good at realistic painting under the traditional Drawing Sketch teaching pattern, but they're lack of imagination, and are often at a loss when having creation class. In fact the students in vocational colleges are of great creative power. Hence, how to create students'creative thinking and creative potential becomes an urgent issue expecting an immediate solution.Based on the peculiarities of vocational colleges'Artistic Designing discipline, the teaching of fundamental courses must meet the need of social development of which creative talents are especially demanded, must focuses on the cultivation of designing awareness and creative thinking so as to keep space from Drawing Sketch teaching and speciality teaching. Then how to construct a mode of Designing Sketch teaching to cultivate creative talents by combining with the advantages of traditional Drawing Sketch teaching?This paper analyzes the present situation of Designing Sketch teaching of Artistic Designing discipline, concludes the significance of cultivating creative thinking in Designing Sketch teaching, and explores the ways to the cultivation of creative thinking, such as diffusion thinking, assembling thinking, inspiration thinking, association, imagination ands fantasy, meanwhile explores the influential elements such as knowledge and experience, individualization, observation, etc. and to build a multi-dimensional evaluation system so as to promote students'ability of creative thinking.Bases on these, practical ways are put forward: case teaching, creativity power thinking by employing different-form-designing, reconstruction, substitution, time-lasting, etc. and concrete solutions to specific issues such as model setting and applying, and class discussion, etc. at last a teaching case of the cultivation of creative thinking is devised.The methods involved in this study are: the investigation into literature, comparison, theory explicit, case and tentativeness.It's argued in this dissertation that to train creative thinking in Designing Sketch teaching is helpful to develop students'creative potential; it's helpful to arouse students'interest; and problem-awareness improve their disciplinary quality and enhance their full development. It will shed light on both theory and practice for Designing Sketch teaching.
