| This thesis, by utilizing the theory and methods of modern theoretical linguistics, applied linguistics, structural linguistics, corpus linguistics such as sampling, statistics, analysis, and induction, exponds of overall description and brilliant exposition on verbs voices and suffixes which make verbs in modern Uighur luaguage.This paper is divided into three chapters under two big parts. First part includes two chapters. They are the general outline of verbs and studys on verbs, verb voices. Starting from the definition of voices, it fully explain the structual formation of modern Uighur verb vioces. On the basis of statistics of verb voicec in "Dictionary of Modern Uighur lauguage", clarified the property of verb voices suffixes, emphesized the character of its inflectional morphemes, and summurized the verbs voices multiplized formulas.Part two is made up chapter three. Beginnig with the definition of inflectual morphemes in modern Uighur, significantly analyzed every compound verbs, seperated the verb-make suffix from the stem, divede the productive and non-productive verb suffix then found the suffix as for the part of speech, and demonstrated some verb-make suffixes which have not been entered as verb-make suffix to some ditionary.The paper, I believe, which makes full use of modern techniques-computer, can play a certain role in writing works, compiling dictionaries, textbooks, machine translation, also to the people who learns Uighur language as second one.
