The verb-complement verb is an important kind of compound words,from the structure aspect,it's mainly the "verb+verb/adjective”form;from the semantic aspect,there is a supplementary relationship between the verb and the complement,The complement component explains the result,tendency and state of the action,or it is also an evaluation of the action.There are many researches on the ontology of the verb-complement verbs,but these research results are rarely used in TCSL teaching practice.The verb-complement verb is an important and difficult point in TCSL,therefore,this paper makes a discussion for the verb-complement verb in TCSL teaching,starting with usage of verb-complement verb in HSK corpusFirstly,research status of the verb-complement verb is overviewed in this paper;then,we define the range of the verb-complement verb from both the form and semantic aspect.In this paper,we select verb-complement verbs from Syllabus of Graded Words and Characters for Chinese Proficiency.We use the data statistics and analysis of model to classify the selected verb-complement verbs,to do statistics about the usage rate and error rate of the selected verb-complement verbs,to summary the biased error type and attempt to analyze the cause of errors according to the different types,and then put forward the proposal.According to the statistics of the results,wrong-words are most frequently biased error type,which are mostly caused by wrong collocation.To solve this problem,we write a common collocation table for the verb-complement verb to help Chinese learners to grasp the verb-complement verb better.Then a teaching design using the common collocation table for the the verb-complement verbs is made in this paper,which provide some reference for the verb-complement verb teaching.
