The Phonetic Study Of Luhongshi Dialect In Dong'an County Hunan Province

Luhongshi town locates in the middlenorth of Dongan county Hunan province, as the result of being influenced by the other dialects or languages, huhongshi dialect shares the characteristics of Xiang Dialect, Gan Dialect and the Southwest Mandarin. This paper describes systemically the phonology of Luhongshi dialect, comparing with Qiyang dialect, Lingling dialect and Jian dialect to exhibit mixed phonetic features of Luhongshi dialect.This paper includes five parts.The intreduction part show us the geography and population, the condition of language of Luhongshi town. It also introduces the present studies of Luhongshi dialect and the significance and methods of this paper.The first part analyses the phonetic characters of Luhongshi dialect.The second part describes the phonetic system of Luhongshi dialect, including initials, tones and coordination relationships between the consonants and vowels, modeling of the tone of words.The third part offers the syllabary of Luhongshi dialect.The fourth part is the phonetic comparisom between huhongshi dialect and Qiyang dialect, Lingling dialect, Jian dialect in initials, finals and tones.The fifth part discusses the attribution and contribut-ing factor of Luhongshi dialect from it' s phonetic characters.
