A Study Of The Heavy Drought Of Guangdong Province In 1943

This dissertation selects the drought problem as its research subject, and the research scope is on Guangdong province , in which disaster situation was most serious. Chapter 1 is an introduction to the scholarly research history, the current academic research on this relative subject, with the emphasis on the historical and realistic significances of the study. Chapter 2 narrate the survey and the performance of heavy drought in Guangdong province in 1943,really reappear the pitiful scene of this heavy drought in 1943 as far as possible .Chapter 3 analyze emphatically the aftermath and the serious influence of heavy drought in 1943.Chapter 4 inspect mainly the natural reasons and the social reasons of this heavy drought. We can know thoroughly the essence of the disaster by the union of natural factor and the social factor, thus we can draw the correct conclusion and the enlightenment. Chapter 5 analyze the condition of the relief disaster in 1943.The relief disaster divid into three kinds , which are government relief, folk relief and the other relief ways. I also analyze the actual effect of relief disaster. Chapter 6 has a summarize on the elaboration of the front article, then I obtain the experiences lesson and inspires .It is advantageous for us to do the work of against natural disasters and the relief disasters.
