| In circles of criticism, people usually have prejudice to religious factor in literature, because we often understand it from perspective of politics and sociology. The paper writes religious narrative of the New Period literature from angle of peculiarity of religion.The whole paper is divided into four parts: (1) Introduction: purpose and significance of the subject. As the way that people understand the world, religion and literature are the same about ultimate concern. Study of relation between them not only is a important problem of Marxist literature, but also provides a new angle for research of the New Period literature. (2)Social cultural source of religious narrative. On one hand, the relation between religion and the literature is very close. On the other, religious narrative has a close relationship with the social environment. (3) Writers' religious spirit in the works of the New Period. The paper chooses Zhang Chengzhi, Shi Tiesheng and Bei Cun's works to explain the religious narrative of the New Period literature. They demonstrate style of themselves and provide different scenery for the New Period literature after religion is involved in the domain of their creation. (4) Aesthetic features and limitations of the voice of faith. Religious narrative evokes sacredness, respect and solemn with symbol and metaphor in our heart. But writers' creation of the New Period suffers limitations due to its immaturity. How does the writer balance religion and literature in literary creation? This is the biggest test to the subject matter of religion in the New Period literature. |
