Life Experience In A Dilemma

Researching on the female writers of the north-eastern enemy-occupied area in Modern Chinese Literature should be set up in hurry. And researching on Meiniang & her novels are the important part in this subject. Meiniang is the famous female writer which has influence on Modern Chinese Literature in north-eastern and northern of China enemy-occupied areas in 1930's-1940's. She has been called"Ling in south and Meiniang in north"with another female writer Zhang Ailing in enemy-occupied area. Because of historical reason, however, researching on Meiniang has still stayed the level of stating history of Literature. And all the content of research generally focused on the introduction of creation experience and the analysis of artistic characteristic. These have been short of deeper and careful special research. Based on this point, this thesis summarizes the research of predecessors, and adopts social & historical analysis psycho-analysis archetype-analysis feminism to discuss Meiniang in order to explore female consciousness in Meiniang's creation. The purpose of this thesis is to reveal the distinctive creative background, cultural psychology and what has influenced on Meiniang's literature creatures . Based on these, this thesis makes a comparative research with modern female writer literatures creatures in 1930's-1940's referring to Meiniang . These show her distinctive characteristic in Modern Chinese Literature creatures of Meiniang, a female writer in enemy-occupied area . This thesis includes not only the summery of the same creative characteristic of female writers and also the analysis on individual contents in Meiniang's novels.This thesis is made up of six parts. In the introduction part we will recounted generally the life stories of Meiniang's, her articles, the research of predecessors, the research methods and direction in this thesis. The first part: spirit changes in the period of movement. The reasons why the female consciousness were approached in Meiniang's novel were concluded multiple influence of"May 4th"movement, miserable experience of themselves and social reality in enemy-occupied area and soon. The second part: the serious narration about misery on sex. This paper will discuss the description of Meiniang about misery of women in enemy-occupied area under the nationality class and sex oppression.This paper has great differentiated and analyzed the difference between the description whose core is sexual misery by Meiniang and"time-writing"whose core is class misery by Xiaohong ,and also clearly showed the difference of express style of literature which was chosen in different period, different political and different cultural background. The third part: self views of female's standpoint. adopting three important research methods: archetype analysis, psycho-analysis, feminism, this thesis will talks about the awakening of women's themselves in Meiniang's novels, the sprout of sexual sense, the overthrow of"males world"and summarize the same female writing characteristic by Meiniang in common sense .The forth part : there is no home there when she turns back . Beginning with Meiniang's herself life experience, some concept in Meiniang's sense which showed her perplexity and dependent mutually, we has been discuss several ideal limitation in Meiniang's creative novels and revealed the reason why Meiniang could not liberate women completely. In the end of this paper a concentrate compassion has been made between Meiniang and other female writers'creations in Modern Chinese Literature history, And then this paper sketches out in Meiniang's status in Modern Chinese Literature history.
