The Research Of Parallel Prose Of Liusong

As a special kind of literature style of our country, parallel prose gleams the special shining glory among the classic literature. But after the establishment of PRC(People's Republic of China), the research of the parallel prose has not been done enough, though the count of parallel prose is huge. Since 1980s, the research has been taken more and more. And now the quantities of the studies and thesis have risen since. But as the research begins so late, the researchers are not enough and the research is still not so thorough.After summarizing and analyzing the present condition we get to know that the parallel prose of Liu Song of Nan Dynasty's Liu Song during which the prose has originated was not taken enough emphases. Actually, the prose of Liu Song was particular in symmetry, literary-quotation, diction, intonation and so on. Studying the parallel prose of Liu Song is very important to know the process of the parallel prose. Meanwhile, the prose were widely used literary quotations firstly. This was important during the process. we will detail the thesis in three parts. Chapter 1: defining the range of the parallel prose of Liu Song. Aiming at existing problems of the boundary-definition of the parallel prose and the relationship between parallel prose and parallel indite , we will distinguish and discuss these problems. Then we will get a reasonable re-boundary-definition and get to know the real relationship between parallel prose and parallel indite. By doing this, we can offer the foundation of extension of the parallel prose. At the end of the chapter, following the standards and the studying of the 1396 pieces of prose in the Quan Song Articles which written by Yan Kejun, we conclude the researching range of the Liu Song parallel prose.Chapter 2: analyzing the concrete characteristics of the parallel prose of Liu Song. Firstly, the level of the parallel prose of Liu Song is higher than West Jin. In some prose, even all the sentences are parallel. The usage of separate sentences increased. Secondly, literary quotations are widely used. This is very significant in the history of parallel prose. Thirdly, the diction is not beautiful but also simple, variegated, originality and fine. Lastly, some segment in the prose of Xie Zhuang and Bao Zhao has the characteristic that intonation is harmonious. But the pieces of prose are very few. The most have not have the harmonious intonation. Therefore, we have to say that the parallel prose of Liu Song just had the test in intonation.Chapter 3: ensuring the history position of the parallel prose of Liu Song and analyzing the reason. After analyzing the concrete characteristics in Chapter 2 and the standard characteristics of the normal parallel prose, we give out the important position of Liu Song in the history of the parallel prose: Parallel prose originated in Liu Song. And at that period, literary quotations were used for the first time. This leaded to the widely usage of literary quotations in history. At the end of this chapter, combing politics, culture, social values…etc, we conclude the detail reason that why the Liu Song parallel prose has the important history position.
