Nowadays, in order to promote the image of national culture, USA, Germany, France, Italy, Japan and some other developed countries have been conducting research on traditional colors or national symbolic colors, the findings of which often become the core of high value-added culture industry of those countries. The trend has become more obvious in 21st century. In a digital environment where computers and networks are highly developed, Color Standardization and Color Image Industrialization have gained tremendous momentum.Color research is not only a theoretical research on Chinese traditional feelings. it's also expanding its territory in commercial world. Therefore, the research on Chinese traditional color aesthetic value based on natural environment and humanity environment, and derivative color commercialization, has a significant influence on developing aesthetic conscious and establishing national spirit. However, the purpose of the research on traditional color aesthetics is not to repeat the past, but to better serve current and future needs. Promoting traditional culture conduces to make modern design more meaningful and provides it with a wider environment for development. It has become a trend in the localization of modern design art to apply traditional color and the design language derived from it to modern plane design. Chinese traditional color aesthetics has a deep culture root. Chinese traditional color is ideological, historical and practical, aesthetic. Not only is it influenced by vision, it's also influenced by Chinese national culture tradition and environment. Chinese traditional color aesthetics has developed for thousands of years, serving as a good background for color analysis and processing in modern design.Traditional color conception values symmetry, balance, pursuing profit, fighting for life, and luck. Modern color conception is pretty much the extension of traditional views. Of course, as the international economic communication becomes more intensive, and people's mind becomes more active, the traditional hierarchical conception of color and what it represents has developed a lot. People don't view color in a traditional narrow scope. They understand and interpret color in a more complicated way.Traditional culture is amassed during the long-term development of human history and civilization, to study the traditional motifs is not to repeat the past, but to better serve the present and future. Borrowing from and developing on the traditional culture are conducive to the enhancement of the presentation method of modern design, giving it the deeper cultural foundations and broader spaces for development.
