Songs of Chu were a literature radiant pearl in China ancient history. To begin with WanYi in Han Dynasty, many dynasties did lots of research on it, even until now, there still have many people are studying it. Some studies from the annotation aspect, some studies from the explanation aspect, some studies from the translation aspect, some studies the characters in it, and some also studies the plants of it. In recent years, many scholars have set out to research on it from the angle of culture, such as the relationship between China Central culture and Songs of Chu, East foreign country culture and Songs of Chu, South Jiangsu and north Zhejiang culture and Songs of Chu. In such circumstances, it is highly significant to study the relationship between the Ba culture which has close association with the Chu country and Songs of Chu.The paper can be divided into two parts: the preface and the main text, the main text divides into four parts. The preface mainly discusses the goal of the research and the significance as well as the research of domestic and foreign at present situation. The first part is about the cultural limits, carries on the reorganization according to each kind of classification regarding present culture, and can affiliate the meaning of culture. The second part mainly introduces the concrete connotation of the sorcerer culture and sorcery culture contents as well as its social function. The sorcery culture is one kind of folk custom culture taking the sorcerer craft as the principal means and auxiliary by certain specific content. The sorcery culture has contained five aspects of contents: Religion, art, literature, custom and synthesis. Draws the conclusion finally in the article: The Ba witch culture in the Ba song, the Ba dance and the myth fable two aspects has affected "Chu elegies" the creation.
