Research On The Personality, Self-concept And The Way To Tackle And Its Relations Of The Art Students

With the development of China's society and the increasing improvement of the living standard of the people , it has become the pursuit of the common people to enhance their quality of spirit. Of which , the high education, which contains the art education is included, has got the fabulous opportunity to develop, and the art students have become a vital component of the student group in the university.Our survey focuses on the psychological characteristics of the art student, taking the students in the students in the National Ethic College of Gui Zhou province as the subjects. We will take a sample .composed of 200 student in art and collect related stastics through questionair by analyzing it, so as to probe into the personality ,self-concept and the way to tackle and its relations of the art students. the outcome shows that :c1. the general characteristics of the art students are :extrovted-- a stable mood, plain, and bald, there is no difference in terms of gender, and a little distinction in grade: the freshmen and the sophoemore are lower than the junior and senior in terms of psychoticism and neuroticism dimension. on the contrary the formers are higher than the latter ones in social concealment.2. the self-concept among the students of art are on average positive and high, especially in the aspect of family-self and virtual-ego and ego ; the girls share a higher degree than the boys do in vitrual-ego; for grade, the freshmen and sophomore are higher than the junior and senior in self-concept.3. the order that the art students often take is : to solve the problem, call for help ,raionalize, idealize,evade, and self-critize; of which ,the girl are prone to idealize. In the respect of self-blame factor, the junior are higher than the freshmen and the sophomore, and in the rational factor, junior is higher than the sophomore.4. the relations between quality and self-concept among the art students is : psychoticism , neuroticism and marks are in negative correlation ,whereas being extroverted or introverted and marks in positive correlation. Psychoticism and many others factors, except the self-criticism show a negative correlation ,whereas being extroverted and other factors , except the self-criticism and other self-concepted factors show a positive correlation. Neuroticism and self-concept show a obvious negative correlation.5. the relations between the character of the art students and its way of tackling: psychoticism and active dealing show a obvious negative correlation, and the the passive ways, except the idealizing factor, a obvious positive correlation; the rational method a obvious positive correlation. Being extroverted or introverted and active way a positive correlatin, and a obvious negative correlation with inactive way and rational method. Neuroticism and the positive way show a negative correlatin , and a obvious correlation with the passive way and rational way.6. the relations between the self-concept of the students and the way to tackle: the totally marks and active ways show a positive correlation ; and a negative one with inactive way and ration way; and a positive one with self-concept and active way , except the self-criticism: and a negative one with the passive way and rational way. Also self-criticism , passive way and rational way show a positive correlation.
