A Study On External MingFu Granting System In The Song Dynasty

In ancient china, the external Ming Fu is a prominent order of women, and it is a close relationship with political system. The external Ming system originated in the Qin and Han of ancient china, Sui and Tang dynasties in a comprehensive. In Song dynasty, it has a certain changes and the emergence of new features. External Ming Fu, a political status of women, which was established through granting system in the Song dynasty. The granting system not only to the official position for a specific request, but also to the granted woman have certain limitations. After the granting of women in access to certain political fields, to obtain different from the women in the general political and economic treatment. In feudal society, the external Mingfu system is a part of bureaucratic system in essentially, but independent of the normal bureaucratic establishment. The research of it can find the difference of men and women, lives first and last. In the meanwhile, it can be a better understanding to the top and middle female.This paper is divided into four parts. The first chapter introduces the topics significance of this paper, the research condition and the question which is relation to the external Ming Fu. The purpose is that we have an overall understanding. The second chapter introduces the granting system which can establish the identity of external Ming Fu, including the evolution of titles, the requirements of granting, procedures and management. This is the focus of this paper. The third presents the treatment of external Ming Fu, including both political status and economic treatment. The last narrates the visualize and family life of external Ming Fu from help husband and teaching son, managing a household, and so on.
