Hakka dialect , represented by meixian idiom, Guangdong, is one of the branches of the Chinese common language. Thousands of people in the central plains of China migrate to the South China when the five minorities invaded.After a long-time migrating, they settled in the mountain areas ,which are in today's Guangdong, Fujian and Jiangxi province.Besides,they are also distributed in Sichuan, Hunan and Taiwan,Hainan,etc..The language they speak gradully and finally developed into a one of independence, purity and vitality, which comes from,but different from the Chinese common lanuage, in the long-period of historical development.There are some words,which do not make difference from those of the ancient Chinese not only by voice but also by semanteme. Evidently ,it is valuble to our see clearly general picture of the ancient Chinese lanuage and grasp the thread of its evolution both on voice and on semanteme to make a lot of research on them.However, Hakka dialect,as one branch of Chinese common lanuage,has not got the attention which it should have yet.Furthermore,The The most importance of Hakka dialect terms material of have never gained enough confirmation in academic circles.The research on Hakka dialect before and now has been non-systemic,most of which lays particular stress on their meaning,and neglects the voice.Hereupon, the writer select eighty-eight single-syllable words from Hakka dialect particularly and make practical and distinct research for their sources.
