Information age, the lifestyle of human changed. Traditional means of visual communication can not meet the needs of the information dissemination completely. The development of technology and multimedia provided a new form—the new media to visual communication. As new technologies and new media for conveying the specific forms, new media absorb advantages of traditional media, combined with Internet and various interactive technics that makes a more effective way for information dissemination, and gradually became the main form of visual communication.Human had experienced four revolutions on information dissemination and is fifth has coming. We tried to summed up the new features of new media first from the Relationship of technology and media. Analysis the impact on Visual Communication from it's new form . To proof the development trend and trying to point out the popularity and promotion of new media will leads a new revolution on visual. Visual communication will go towards to multidimensional, Humanization of fun, participatory, multi-sensory, and so on. Researchers of design should notice the changes on it. Through exploration corresponding to the design of better methods to achieve the applications of new media in the visual communication.
