Investigations On The Inheritance Of Nanyin Music Ensemble On The Current Status

Quanzhou, located in southeastern Fujian , is one of the most famous historical and cultural cities in China and flowed with natural resources .The climate here is warm and humid, just like spring all the year round. Quanzhou Nanyin is a type of ancient Chinese music with typical culture of Minnan area, song by Quanzhou dialect. Quanzhou Nanyin was destroyed because of some shocks, well, thanks for the particularity of Minnan culture and its own specialty, Quanzhou Nanyin was well protected by the government and various circles in the society especially the compatriots of Hong Kong and Macao, Taiwan as well as overseas Chinese in the early 1980s. However, Quanzhou Nanyin was still lost in the preservation of cultural heritage and gradually declining.Quanzhou Nanyin Music Ensemble, the social foundation of Nanyin, plays an important role in protecting, collating, exploring and researching the cultural heritage---Quanzhou Nanyin, and it is not only the carrier of Nanyin performance and artistic appreciation but also the cultural exchanges with the outside world. Quanzhou Nanyin Music Ensemble, which helps Nanyin receive international recognition and raise the international awareness , has become an indispensable part of developing and researching Nanyin .There are now 232 Nanyin Music Ensembles in Quanzhou ( Sep. 2005). These Music Ensembles promote Quanzhou Nanyin further development.The writer makes an on-the-spot investigation on Nanyin Music Ensembles at Quanzhou area, and takes the points of view from the cultural backgrounds and the internal causes, for example, the way of heredity, method, music score, singing , the famous teacher ,old musical instruments and folk custom, and based on the general investigation of Quanzhou Nanyin Music Ensemble in 2005, the writer makes a special survey on some typical Ensembles, then analysis, compares, and expounds , systematicly researches the external structure and internal organization of Nanyin Music Ensemble, as well as the advantage and disadvantage of heredity, further explores the new method of the of impart and inherit of Quanzhou Nanyin。...
