Study On Experimental Nature Of Chinese Contemporary Art From Concept And Media

The appearance of Chinese contemporary art is influenced by western modern art and post-modern Western art. It is a highly experimental art phenomenon. It has brought unprecedented experiments and innovation bout art concepts and media in art history of China. This rapid development trend is formed of Chinese artists' bold explore and a lot of experiments which challenge and beyond traditional Chinese art constantly. After a large number of art experiments made by Chinese contemporary artists, the field of contemporary art emerged an unprecedented state of freedom, the type of art has been expanding, the resources of art creation have been expanded, the traditional sense of Chinese art has beyond recognition. The experimental art has aroused people's concern, and caused a lot of controversy. They constantly challenge the art border, the Chinese and Western culture, the law and moral standards.This paper is divided into four parts, the first part of this paper on origin and status of China's experimental art, firstly, introduced the origin, impacted by the 20th century Western art. Experimental art generally has experienced three stages, the first stage is simply to imitate the Western modern art, the second stage is a localization of the contemporary art, and the third stage is the internationalization of the contemporary art. The second part of this paper on experiment of concept has expanded the types of art and displayed a diversity trend. Chinese contemporary art has been an important branch of international contemporary art, analyze this part mostly from painting, concept photography, performance art, installation art and new media art .Followed with the experiment of the concept, art media has also undergone a transformation. The third part of this paper on the experiment of media, the experiment of media show a diversity and expand the art creation resources. The forth part of this paper is conclusion part, I give a simple summary on experimental nature of Chinese contemporary art .
