The self-efficacy theory is an important part of social cognitive theory presented by Bandura.Self-efficacy refers to an individual's beliefs that he or she has the capability to treat with challenge. Self-efficacy relates to every aspect of people's behavior control and adjustment.It directly influence how people think,feel and behave in a campaign.The theory research has become one of focus problems in psychological study field lately.So it is significant to research related influence factors of self-efficacy for the new means of the studies on improving one's self-efficacy.In order to investigate the status of general self-efficacy among college students and explore the personal influence factors of it,559 college students were surveyed by General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES), Attributional Style Questionnaire(ASQ),Trait Anxiety Inventory(T-AI), 16 Personality Factor Questionnaire(16PF)and Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scale(BARS)-Rating College Performance.The research results showed:â‘ There were significant differences in GSES marks between participants of different sex,home place,title and among different major and college.Boys,those who comes from cities,those has a title and medicos had higher general self-efficacy.â‘¡ There were significant relationships between attributional style and self-efficacy,trait anxiety and self-efficacy,personality factor and self-efficacy.Those who had different attributional style,different anxiety level and distinct personality characteristics had different self-efficacy level.â‘¢The college performance was positively associated with general self-efficacy among college students.â‘£These factors had great prediction to general self-efficacy of college students:trait anxiety, positive events,liveliness,self-reliance,rule consciousness,vigilance, anxiety dimension of 16PF,"Knowledge,learning,mastery of general principles" and "Continuous learning,intellectual interest and curiosity" of college performance,sex and major.
