Shu Ting is a lyrical poet of genius. Her poetry, is a beautiful and sad song which composes with the true feelings. Her poems, the sentiment and the art are mixed flawlessly. The harmonious and elegant tunes, the graceful forms, the high-speed imagination, the rich images, the profound moods are naturally and can be founded conveniently. This article begins with the sadness feelings of her poetry. Combining its lyricism, it mainly demonstrates and analyzes the artistic characteristic of her poems' rhythm and image utilization.The full text can be divided into three parts: the introduction, the main text and the conclusion. The main text which also can be divided into three chapters mainly elaborates the expressing skill of her sad feeling.The first chapter mainly expounds the sad theme of Shu Ting's poetry. Shu Ting's poem is bora in China's misery years. Sad is a chief characteristic of her emotion and works. Her poetry is not only a description of the distressed times but also a interpretation of the sad love. at the same time, is also revealing the gentleness of maternal feelings. Her sadness is a perfect combination of the personal grief and the public grief. Simultaneously its sadness will be containing to the infinite expectation of the future. The second chapter mainly elaborates the relations between her sad expressing feelings and the rhythm art. Her poem is the perfect combination of internal emotion and external forms. The rhythm changes naturally along with the emotion flowing. This is the right interpretation for the theory of "form's transformation according to feeling".The third chapter mainly analyzes its sad image art. Her poetry is very rich in imagery. The transformation and composition in its image changes freely along with the mood flowing, having the feature of "image change as a result of emotion".
