Study On Lao-tase Edition

The ancient books have more problms in the course of their handing down and their aspects have been changed in the long time. The book Lao-tase have same change in the old time which had been a important scholarship in the Spring and Autumn Period .This article will discribe its editions by the order of time. So we can understand its editions at diferent time.This article have seven chapters. In the first chapter I discribe the important editions of Lao-tase in the Xian Qin and west Han and east Han period. In the next five chapter I discribe the important editions of Wei Jin and Nan Bei Chao period,Sui and Tao dynasty,Song and Yuan dynasty,Ming and Qing dynasty,twenty century and the prime of twenty-one century. And in every chapter's ends I generate the feature and the relation of the editions in every period. In the Xian Qin and west Han and east Han period the book Lao-tase had had some editions. They had been the most primitive editions and became the souce of all of edition in the last time.The Lao-tase'editions had some change at the base of the old editions in Wei Jin and Nan Bei Chao period.The Lao-tase's editions must be effected mostly by the edition of He Shang Gong in Wei Jin and Nan Bei Chao period because Wang Bi's came from it and The Lao-tase's editions in Sui and the prime of Tang dynasty was also based on it.In Tang dynasty the ruling class praise Lao-tase highly so it become the great prosperiry period of annoting Lao-tase. The bibliographys of annoting Lao-tase added greatly,and appeared a new edition which engraved in big stone. A very bad thing was that Lao-tase left its primitive form because someone as TangXuanZong change its concent greatly. More people annoted Lao-tase in Song and Yuan dynasty and their viewpoints were very different.Their ways of annoting Lao-tase had developed. This period was a phase of great change in course of Lao-tase's handing down. In addition,It happened to a lot of variorum editions in this period. Futurity could collect from them. The scholar attach mostly importance to the contents of Lao-tase than before. And in the most of Lao-tase'editions the editions of Ho-shang-kung and WangBi were important moreover the Tao edition which engraved on stone had been paid great attention.all reflected the feature of Lao-tase editions' fixing period.the scholar of morden attach importance to the Lao-tase contents'emendation and explanations,and because many Lao-tase editions had been found from the ancient tombs the schloars could go on studying Lao-tase's words and edition.meanwhile the scholars still paid attention to the editions of WangBi and Ho-shang-kung.they like to compare these edition with the bibliographys which came from tombs. In adition the schloars had seen the value of Tang dynasty editons.they emended many editions by them and studyed tomb bibliographys consulting them.the seventh chapter is the summary and supplement of the formore chapters. It not only synthesizely expounds the Lao-tase editions'handing down and the relation of Lao-tase editions but also introduces briefly Lao-tase editions' handing down before WangBi and tomb bibliographys about Lao-tase and Lao-tase editions in Dao Zang and phonology works about Lao-tase.
