The Analysis Of Jiao Rzn's "Yijing" Theory

"Yijing" theory is the core theory of Chinese classical aesthetics ,in the development, it was affected and drove by the influence of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism ,and formatted by the accumulated experiences of Poetry creation. Using "Yijing" theory in literary criticism began from Poetry theory in Tang Dynasty. The Tang Dynasty poet Wang Changling mentioned it first in his Shi Ge. In the middle of Tang Dynasty, the monk poet Jiaoran made a significant progress in developing "Yijing" theory with the combination of "Yi" theory and "Jing" theory. This paper analyze Jiao Ran's "Yijing" Theory from his Shi Shi and Shi yi.This paper mainly expounds Jiao Ran's "Yijing" theory from five aspects of "Yi" theory, "Jing" theory, "Zuoyong" theory, style and " Shijiazhongdao" theory. "Yi" meant "liyi" and "zhongyi", "liyi" refer to writers' conceiving and grapping inspiration, "zhongyi" related to implication. "Jing" theory was analyzed from "qujing", "zaojing", "yuanjing" and "jingxiang having virtual image and actual image". "Qujing" was mentioned by Jiao Ran. Guided by Buddhism, it summarized laws of thought of art briefly. "Zaojing" had not formed systematic theory, which refer to creation of poem in his poems. In his criticize and poem , Jiao Ran talked about "yuanjing". "Yuanjing" meant to link scenery and emotion, which affected many poets and formed the theory of poetry emotion and meanings gradually. "Jingxiang having virtual image and actual image" related to the poets' consciousness which means what you are thinking and what you could think. "Zuoyong" refer to conceiving and description. In style,Jiao Ran talked about the relationship of "Yijing" theory and poetry style. About "shijiazhongdao", Jiao Ran explaned it with Buddhist conception.In the influence of Confucianism, Buddhism,Taoism and the predecessors' theory , especially Yin Fan's "xingxiang" theory and Wang Changlin "poems having three realm", Jiao Ran formed his "Yijing" theory. In his theory, Jiao Ran made a comprehensive discussion on poetry by using the mental state of Buddism, the imagery of Taoism, the "Bi Xing" of Confucianism. It has a far-reaching influence on the development of "Yi Jing" theory , literary creation and the development poetry theory of later generations.
