Their relations how? What do the parenting style to affect in these two kind of self-esteem formation? Personality whether is playing some kind of intermediary role? These questions are not only the scholars matters of concern, moreover therefore has also initiated more and more research. This research has carried on the thorough discussion from 3 aspects on the above question (1)With measurements of implicit self-esteem by GNAT and IAT,and the measurements of explicit self-esteem by SES and FIS,(2) Then discuss the relationship between explicit self-esteem and implicit self-esteem. (3) With measurements of parenting style,personality by EMBU and QZPS.The study showed that:(1)The results indicated that implicit self-esteem and explicit self-esteem were two relatively separate structures other than one structure. The effect of undergraduate's implicit self-esteem was significant on IAT.(2) The result indicated that parenting style was no significantly related to the level of people's implicit self-esteem, and the parenting style was significantly related to the people's explicit self-esteem. There existed significant positive correlation between students' explicit self-esteem and their parents' emotional warmth and understanding and their mothers' favoritism, suggesting positive parenting styles could enhance adolescents implicit self-esteem. Parents' rejection and negating and chastisement were significantly related to the discrepancy between adolescents' implicit self-esteem and explicit self-esteem, which indicated that negative parenting styles might be one of the factors impacting the consistency of implicit self-esteem and explicit self-esteem.(3) The result indicated that personality was significantly related to the level of people's explicit self-esteem .and have no significantly related to the implicit self-esteem.
