The narrative of nickname is not only a kind of language phenomenon but also a way of character narration which connects and covers rich folk and cultural contents. It signifies social-political phenomenon in specific era as well. In the evolvement of history, the narrative of nickname forms a system which is a source of narration and a establishment of a field of representation with the combination of times, politics and culture, providing a profound horizon of intertextuality and value of unscrambling.This paper aims at analyzing the narrative of nickname in Chinese narrative texts, hackling the creation, evolvement, stereotype and variation of narrative mode of nickname; discussing the "character narrative of nickname" represented by Lu Xun, Hu Shi, Laoshe and so on. Emphasis is put on how the disputation on the popularization of literature and the national form provided and redisentombed folk tradition resource in 30^th and 40^th years respectively.
