Research On The Distribution Of Dialects And The Meaning Of Words In Fanyan Xufanyanxinjiaobu And Fanyanbielu | | Posted on:2008-03-25 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:X J Cha | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2155360272468901 | Subject:Linguistics and Applied Linguistics | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Fanyan is the first dialect bood in Chinese and in the world,which records ovcabularies of many regions and reflects dialectics phenomenons of Han Dynasty.It's important to the study of Chinese dialectology and lericology which should not be substitutied for.And today,It's still valuable datas for us to study the development of Chinese vocabularise.The thesis begins with Yang Xiong's Fangyan and takes advantage of ancient books that speak of dialectic vocabularies in history.At last it puts in a nutshell in Hanyu Da Cidian and Hanyu Fanyan Da Cidian,maily using a diachronic and vertical comparison studying method.Trying to grasp the difference in times and regions of vocabularies in Jianghuai Dialect from Xihan Dynasty to modern time,we discuss the locus of historical evolution of these vocabularies.And we try to make some foundtion work for the study of the historic evolution of Jianghuai dialectic vocabularies and other Chinese Dialects.We illustrate an important feature of Fanyan,Xufanyanxinjiaobu and Fanyanbielu thatsome characters only show prounciations and can't express different characters.So we should not only rigidly adhere to fonts when we judge the relationships between archaisms and modern Chinese vocabularies.We study the distribution of dialects and historical evolution of vocabularies in Fanyan,Xufanyanxinjiaobu and Fanyanbielu.We divide these vocabularies into five types.The ways in evolutions are:their meanings enlarge,or marrow,or transform or dispear etc.On the basis of these discusses,we drow some conclusions.Firstly,from the angle of the evolution of the sense of the word,the meanings of most dialectic vocabularies in Fanyan,Xufanyanxinjiaobu and Fanyanbielu keep relative stable in the history.Secondly, there are some reasons:the main tendency is the flowig from north to south.The dialects in North China have blended inside and have tended to unanimous. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Fanyan, Xufanyanxinjiaobu, Fanyanbielu, Dialectic Words, Jianghuai Dialect, Meaning of Words, Distribution, Evolution | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
