Research On The Relationship Between Frustration Tolerance And Family Function Of College Students

The purpose of this research is to explore the correlations between frustration tolerance and family function, and then to examine the predictability between family function and frustration tolerance of the college students. The instruments used in this research include the modified FAD, and the frustration tolerance scale. The survey was conducted among 662 college students from universities in Jiangxi province.The results of the research as follows:1. From the average, the academic frustration tolerance of college students in overall is somewhat low, especially in the developments of academic risk orientation; the interpersonal frustration tolerance of college students in overall is above average degree.2. The academic frustration tolerance shows significant differences in gender, subjects and regions, but does not show any remarkable differences in singleton or not; The interpersonal frustration tolerance has significant differences between college students who come from different regions, but does not have any remarkable differences in other variables.3. There are significant negative correlations between family function and academic frustration tolerance, interpersonal frustration tolerance.4. The problem solving, the behavior control and the communication can predict the academic frustration tolerance; and the problem solving, the communication and the roles can predict the interpersonal frustration tolerance.
