Language is the research subject of all analytic philosophies and Hermeneutics, and the first questions of language investigation are the understanding of language meaning. Davidson's thought is illustrated by interpreting thoroughly the scheme, whose thought is that the language in communication is not the convention language, and that the meaning set of this kind of conventional language does not exist to a certain extent. He advocates the interpersonal exchange on a kind of good will foundation, with the prerequisite of this kind of exchange supposing the words that others say are real, and the maximum unanimousness of understanding reached. The explanation theory of Davidson's good-will principle as starting point was proved lacking argumentation in its theoretical system. However, Davidson regards thorough explaining as an interesting thought experiment, thinking that this kind of mode is the general method for interpersonal understanding.Just as Gadamer's statements, the first terms of our understanding a certain text are that something happens together with us, with the thing happening depends on the way of meeting that we ourselves cannot decide. One is not the host that dominates the perspective introjections, though one may review the historical circumstances that one is in. Because perspective introjections are regarded as a kind of effective presuppose, equally valid in our daily contacts, as the possibility of the text interpretation and talking with others, the concept of supposing others' words real in hermeneutics is involved in. Gadamer holds the view that we regard this kind perspective introjections as priori terms, especially as the possibility of text interpretation and communication exchange and that we inside need an well-meaning annotation artistic conception, which reminds us of the good-will principle very naturally. Meanwhile, the world mode in good-will principles internally contains "the principle of whole", "rationality of people", which guarantee the possibility of understanding and communicating.Part one: the leading background of good-will principles and the position in language interpretation and communication are illustrated. The similarities and differences in the understanding of philosophy of languages and hermeneutics are discussed, especially the scheme in understanding and communicating.Part two: Intuition and theory rationality in Davidson's good-will principles are proven, with clarification of the relationship of truth, meaning and faith, and oneself, others and the world.Part three: Prerequisite terms of good-will principles as language interpretation are described, with the superiority on methodology. Part four: In sum, the author thinks that that good-will principle can take on the important task of linking up the truth, faith and meaning and the understanding of others can be reached with good will as the starting point.
