| | The Relation Of The Time Management Disposition, Intellectual Achievement Responsibility And Achievement Motivation For Middle School Student |  | Posted on:2010-04-13 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis |  | Country:China | Candidate:X M Zhang | Full Text:PDF |  | GTID:2155360275455939 | Subject:Development and educational psychology |  | Abstract/Summary: |  PDF Full Text Request |  | People favor urgent but unimportant tasks over important but nonurgent tasks in intertemporal decision conflicts.It's a general problem,so it's important to study the time management.The time management disposition is the psychological and behavioral characteristic on individual approach in the use of time,or in thinking of the value and function of time.It's a muti-dimensional,muti-level personality trait.Objectives:1.To review the reliability and validity of the Adolescent Time Management Disposition Scale by confirmatory factor analysis(CFA);2.To review the characteristic of the middle school students' time management disposition,describe the overall situation of Chinese middle school students' time management disposition;3.To examine the relation among the time management disposition, intellectual achievement responsibility and achievement motivation to further examine the inner mechanism of the middle school students time management disposition.Conclusions:1.Adolescence Time Management Disposition Scale(ATMD) has excellent reliability and validity.2.The overall level of the middle school student time management disposition is middling or upper.The one-child's student was significantly better than that of non-only-child on the sense of time value;the one-child's student was significantly better than that of non-only-child on the sense of time value;there was significant difference on grade in time management disposition and its three dimensions.3.There was significant difference on intellectual achievement responsibility and its two dimensions,internal control of success and internal control of failure,that who has difference in time management disposition also on achievement motivation and its two dimensions,motivation to pursue success and motivation to avoid failure(except the sense of time value).4.Time management disposition and its three dimensions have significant positive correlation with intellectual achievement responsibility and its two dimensions;Time management disposition and its three dimensions have significant positive correlation with achievement motivation and motivation to pursue success,have significant negative correlation motivation to avoid failure(except the sense of time control);intellectual achievement responsibility and its two dimensions have significant positive correlation with achievement motivation and motivation to pursue success, intellectual achievement responsibility and internal control of success have significant negative correlation motivation to avoid failure,internal control of failure have no significant correlation motivation to avoid failure. |  | Keywords/Search Tags: | Middle School Student, Time Management Disposition, Intellectual Achievement Responsibility, Achievement Motivation |  |  PDF Full Text Request |  | Related items |
