The Research On Application Of The "Shape" And "Implication" Of Traditional Cloud Pattern In The Modern Graphic Design

The traditional cloud pattern which is a representation of national style plays a great important role in Chinese traditional decorative art. Its unique artistic shape, profound connotation and implication are source of the modern graphic design. Studying application of the cloud pattern from aspects of "shape" and "implication" is a complete assurance of its utilization in the modern graphic design.The research on application of the "shape" of the cloud pattern uses methods such as analyzing examples, induction, and deduction and so on. These methods are in order to show the characteristic and value of the cloud pattern's visual shape. On this foundation, this article researches the application of the cloud pattern from the diverting of the "shape" and the innovation of the utilization.
